so what's going to happen now is that:
yes, tootsite will still shut down. I don't have the spoons to run it anymore and giving other people access to the server is icky (non negotiable).
I will keep tootsite up for at least three months more (as long as it doesn't implode again) so that people can migrate their accounts and download their archives.
if anyone is having problems with migrations I will try to help, but please understand that I'm at my limit here.
after three months, I will attempt a graceful destruction of the server. No data will be retained after this.

especially thank you to all the mods that have helped running this place, you are the true heroes that have kept us safe.
I also think @lesbian_subnet deserves a big thanks in helping me with some really tricky server upgrades and patches. She has saved tootsite more times than you think.
