In 2023 I had 80 contributions to a number of different projects on GitHub. Double the amount I had the year before, and more than I've had in any other single year since I started using GH in 2010. My second highest was 66 in 2016. And I still don't know any more code than a tiny bit of HTML/CSS. My contributions are exclusively bug reports and feature requests. I really do think they help, and that I can bring an important perspective from a non-coder.
