phiofx@edwiebe @modacitylife 2021 was i believe the first time that more e-bikes than regular bikes were sold in the netherlands. Regular bikes still dominate the cityscape but you have e.g. lots of elderly people getting e-bikes, but also professionals speeding up or making longer their daily commutes with sporty e-bikes and also younger people switching from mopeds and the like (as motorbikes get increasingly treated like cars) to fancy looking e-bikes.
