Cosmic LibrarianLittle known fact...The Civil War never really ended, at least in the South. I'm a 7th generation Texan, and I can't believe how certain attitudes have not really changed. My partner is from Massachusetts, and when I told him that several years ago, he scoffed at that notion. He no longer scoffs, but sees what I mean, especially in the last 10 years. It's been fairly recent that the Confederate flag is not flown proudly down here, with the U.S. flag and the Texas flag. If you know recent state legislation, you also know it's true. It's nuts, and white men still rule at the state capitol.
