How hard is it to find a way out when you're already representing them?

I'll admit this is something I am unfamiliar with, so just a curiousity more than anything.

I was in a town I don't normally visit and saw an attorney's office with "We protect your rights... and your wrongs" on their sign and cringed myself into another dimension.
