@tokyo_0 Verizon recently raised my FiOS rate, so I called to convince them to remove the increase, which they did agree to do and sent me confirmation in writing that it was done, and then three weeks later I got an email telling me they were about to charge my credit card the higher rate they'd supposedly removed.
I suppose I could have wasted more of my time calling then again to straighten it out, but instead I just cancelled and switched to RCN.
