Okay, can someone explain the whole #fediverse thing around #threads and #fedipact? I understood that #hachyderm is still federating Meta, but gave advice how every user can block the domain and essentially decide for themselves whether they want to see it here.
Now a friend of mine sent me a thread about how this decision is transphobic or generally bigoted. And I don't quite get it? I understand that Meta is big tech and "corporate evil". But how is that supporting #transphobia etc.?
