I don't think I've ever voted for an Estonian party other than the Social Democrats. This must not necessarily be understood as an expression of political preference, because compared to the Social Democrats, all other parties in Estonia are so moronic that it would be hard to justify voting for anything else. And now this!
Estonian Interior Minister Lauri Läänemets (also leader of the Social Democratic Party) announces that Estonia would be happy to help bringing male refugees currently living in Estonia to Ukraine to be mobilized - against their will - as soldiers in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Just to remind you again: It is a human right to choose not to actively participate in any armed conflict. What will Läänemets do if the refugees refuse to comply with his disgusting deal with the Ukrainians? Handcuff them?
But calm down, nothing will happen in the end. We are in Estonia after all. In a country where declarations of intent are always good for a headline, even if we don't seriously consider implementing them for even a moment.
