@NPR N95 masks have been independently tested to maintain their filtration capability over VERY long storage lifetimes. 3M warrants their masks for five years if stored in original packaging in sane conditions.

Some people with sophisticated equipment tested 10+ year old masks and found their performance to be virtually indistinguishable from newly manufactured ones of the same brand/type.
