@Miaourt Parsing isn't really the hard or even brittle part of a compiler/toolchain though, even for new compilers of well settled languages it's not.
And so far pretty much nothing rivals textual programming languages and not for a lack of alternatives trying to make other things. Heck even UIs end up pretty textual, sometimes with a graphical editor but much closer to like browser devtools than say a vector image editor.
