SpinnerShe was one of the rare F/SF authors who transcended those genres to be widely regarded as a writer, period. I read a very poorly edited early trade paperback of 'The Lathe of Heaven', and even then her star shone very brightly. By the time she wrote 'Tehanu', she was in a league by herself.
