An Israeli air attack on 12-year-old Dunia Abu Mosbeh's family home in November killed her parents, brother and sister.
“I woke up and was surrounded by rubble,” she said in a video filmed by the Defense for Children organisation last month and shared today on social media. “I realised that my leg was cut off because there was a lot of blood.”
Dunia dreamed of traveling abroad for medical treatment and to get fitted for prosthetic leg. She also said she dreamed of becoming a doctor so that she could treat other children.
Dunia was killed when Israel shelled the maternity ward of Al Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis yesterday.
