Indeed.
That's the reason why websites in Europe should NOT use services like:
- Google
- CloudFlare
- Akamai
- Facebook integration or pixel
- X/Twitter integration
- and so on.
But they do.
Including States' institutions.
Because regulators AND web devs are idiots and incompetent.
