@heyarnold @TheQuQu Honestly going down for even just a week made the situation vastly better for the site even if it wasn't intentional, because suddenly the heat level dropped dramatically after a week since they assumed the site was gone.

It's very common when dealing with people like this online that they'll have a very short attention span. They will in fact move on so fast that someone in a chat group I was in had a nickname for this behavior: "yearly cancellations".
