I dug into five boxes of cables and came up empty-handed, then I went back to the first box and found a PS/2 cable for a keyboard I had.
Then the CD to IDE adapter drive wasn't being found. I fought with that for a while and now the BIOS recognizes it.
Now FreeDOS just goes to a blank screen, so attempting to reinstall FreeDOS on the CF card through Linux/QEMU and then swap it back into the machine.
