After two biopsies, we finally have a firm diagnosis.
I have Langerhan's cell histiocytosis; an extremely rare cancer that my doctors tell me isn’t something seen in adults nor have they personally seen it start in brain. The good news is that it’s treatable.
Radiation therapy/treatment is the first port of call. That has yet to be booked but once it has, I’ll be doing five days straight of treatment. I think they said twice a day but either way, the radiation dosage will be very very low so it’s not expected lose hair etc.
There’s more information to share but I’ll leave it there for now.
