I understand when people don't like authoritarian moderation when someone who isn't you dictates you what you allowed to see, but i really don't understand the rejection of personal blocks.

After all, "ignore" is the same as a block in its effect, but for some reason you'd rather spend the resources of your own mind instead of handing that operation over to a machine.
