    in ~2009 ppl were hacking the iPod nano (3rd/4th generation) and the circumstances of the bug that was found meant they had to bruteforce for a jump address to get code execution. the bruteforcing process involved pressing buttons to get it to reboot so they built fucking ROBOTS out of lego and motors and servos and stuff to automate the process and its literally the coolest thing EVER!!!
