Having been a first generation customer and having their equipment at the heart of my house, their extortion attempt was galling and egregious. They limited heating in my house to 15° and disabled access to my thermostat, meaning I couldn't adjust the temperatures. I live in a corner house and it got very cold very quickly. What they did should be illegal.
