We did not take care of us after repeated traumas, bumps bruises and broken bones, constant social friction around bad actors and bad faith actors who couldn't be rooted out. Of the 20 mil or so that turned out full of fire spitting fire, I wonder how many would make an encore in the next 5-10 years, because there wasn't and isn't a core backbench of support to mend every kind of wound.
