I have an honest question for some of you here. Do you feel that there really is a skill ceiling with Nix? That there comes a point where regardless to how experienced you are with Linux that you won't be able to master all that there is to learn and use with it.

I'unno, could just be that IT was never my calling and the affinity I did has been barely enough to carry me beyond a clueless end user but never to the point where I can learn and absorb the necessary skills to deploy a home lab and made effective use of the resources available.
