There are of course more, like the social media warlords that now inhabit Twitter, but that doesn't interest me. I'm more interested in the three wondering tribes I've described. I would love to see them all settle on Mastodon but I think that season has passed. Mastodon IMHO is now the safe harbor for the conversationalist and the thoughtful and that's not at all a bad place to be.
