@juliangonggrijp @philbetts the nature of our sustainability challenge feels vastly larger than our ancestors. We want to combine 1) much larger populations with 2) more advanced technologies but also 3) long term sustainability.

This is a puzzle worthy of anything homo sapiens has managed to solve in the past.

But there has never been so much problem solving capacity alive (at least in principle). In the short term the biggest hindrance is obsolete ideology and broken, maladapted politics.
