Thinking about how drastically the size of TVs has gone up and the price has fallen, and also how quickly time has passed. I remember seeing a home video from 1999 where someone was telling his friends their millennium was going to be amazing and that he’d splashed out $5,000 on a 32” CRT widescreen TV and his friends lost their minds at the size and quality of the thing.

And for most of us over 45 that doesn’t seem that long ago.
