So even if you couldn't get the emulator to exploit a machine, let's just say you make a ROM that ends up crashing the tab or makes the emulator CPU loop. If you think that's impossible; see MAME. Go to the old ass page for it and sort by "crash/freeze" and you will see a lot of bugs that cause MAME to crash to the desktop. This is far more commonplace.
