    I actually feel like the fact that the richest people in the US are getting really into what is basically a new religion that encourages and justifies really extreme behavior is more concerning than people realizing

    Like the openAI meltdown suggests at least some of them believe this for real. At least people driven by naked greed are predictable and capitalism is a problem we understand. The AI cult is very silly and hard to take seriously but it could still be dangerous
