Ok, so hear me out.
All books have typos. And no OCR tool is perfect. So old books digitized gets more errors.
Gutenberg Project has a ton of digitized public domain books, and they contain this warning.
How about a @wikimediafoundation / @gutenberg_org collab where they publish every Gutenberg book on a wiki, and anyone can go in and fix typos? Just typos, no other changes allowed.
Maybe we could end up with books without typos? A first in the history of the world!?
