The Dutch elections are coming up and I keep seeing across social media comments bemoaning that there's no "progressive-right party".

This makes no sense to me. While (economic) left-right and (social) progressive-conservative are plotted on two different axis, they're inextricably linked. Any right-wing economic policy will have outcomes that don't match progressive values, so ultimately, right wing policies can't be progressive.
