One major drawback of affirmative action is that it labels every minority hire as incompetent. The fact that you need to prove yourself did not change - you still need to prove yourself. But now you are surrounded by incompetency of your fellow affirmatives who are going to try and bring you down to their level.

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions, and affirmative action is a highway to Hell.
