@leespringfield1903 I'm convinced it's because it's too fresh and we had popular support for it for at least 5 years. The soldiers weren't drafted, and the we've poured a lot of time into improving public perception of military and veterans. Too bad not nearly as much resources on helping the vets themselves, but at least the public thinks things are good.
