- Embed this notice@fuzzylinuxuser I like it, but is one of those things you can't recommend to everyone. It turns your X windows into emacs buffers. So, just like using all the programs you use inside of emacs. I like having everything on the same logic for the most part. I was using stumpwm and I liked it but I figured why not use emacs to manage my X windows. Stumpwm was great but doing everything in emacs it was like having a wm in a wm, and I don't need that so we can just use emacs to manage my two X windows.
One thing that may be a problem, but I like it is emacs forces it's keybinding onto all your programs. And that will cause conflict with key bindings that the program already uses. Like for example you can't control f in Firefox
