    I think we are seeing a stratification of users.

    The elite have gone to SSH BBSes.

    The semi-elite are here on the #Fediverse and other holdouts like Gab.

    The normie herd are at Twitter, Reddit, Meta, Pinterest, Truth Social, Gettr, Diasp, etc.

    It seems to me that the normie herd are always going to want something like what they have now.

    They want a place for personal drama, citizen news updates, and press releases.
