Jesse Baer 🔥My operating premise is that if Elon hadn't shut down the API, a bunch of Twitter clients would have added Mastodon functionality, and a lot of people would have a foot in both worlds. I don't mean just passive cross posting either. And when you have a foot in both worlds, and see a lot of your social network with the same, it's a lot easier to remove your foot from one of them.
