This does not raise the content quality of the target of the message, which is questionable in itself. Either "we" have standards, or we don't. If we have them, we should hold messengers accountable to them as well. A "he is friends with, and wrote shit about my peers" plus a "he was commissioned during covid in a questionable publication", is a measure that applies to the messenger as well. But proof is not shown, just speculised. On top of that is the actual spread of conspiracy theory.
