There's one thing in #LGBTQ+ #news that annoys me to no end: The #narrative that anti-LGBT+ #hate groups use the word “#groomer” as a #slur.

It’s false. They use the word, yes, but not as a slur. When they call us “groomers” they mean it literally. They’re saying we’re out to harm children. This is much worse than a slur. It’s #slander, used as a weapon to justify collective punishment over imagined #crimes.

Fight the “groomer” narrative because it’s #bullshit, not because of the word itself.
