Diary of an ASD Squirrel. Day 10 Wednesday 08/11/23

TL:DR Please, its a really short entry tonight ! 😂

Day 3 of the dreaded lurgy, this is really knocking me for 6 (possibly 7).
Spent most of the day near but not quite asleep with my brain trying to figure out which ear to crawl out of!

As I understand more about me I am also learning about how to get along with other ND friends & take account of their ‘eccentricities’ & not be put off by their behaviour patterns. This is a positive thing in my life.

Equally I can look at my reactions to situations now and instead of wondering what planet I am on, I can frame them within my current knowledge of ASD & start to understand the whys & the wherefores of them.

I leave you with this final chain of thought:
Once again the fact that becoming aware of being neurodivergent has positive as well as negative connotations is disconcerting , but in a nice way ! 😊

Thanks to those who are helping me on this journey, in a myriad different ways. I am thankful to each & every one of you ! 😊🫶🐿️🖖
