both of these are true though
Alex is a controlling prick, basically thinks he is the law, and him suddenly being extremely cooperative just because we explained what we're trying to do is very suspicious, and now he's trying to worm his way in himself. He's obviously doing it because he doesn't trust us, but also... I don't think it's a problem if he does. We still control the star power, so he can't really fuck us over if we give him protection; we can just take it away.
