In one breath, we're told this "war" can end and Israel will stop killing Palestinians as soon as Hamas releases the Israeli hostages.

In the next breath, we're told Hamas cares so little about Palestinians, it will gun them down to make Israel look bad.

Israel knew it was never going to gain leverage over Hamas by bombing civilians. In other words, this “war” was never a serious attempt at freeing Israeli hostages. It was always about killing Palestinians and blaming Hamas.
