If you got the code from git.pleroma.social, then you're using Pleroma, but if that is the case then I don't know what you mean about Akkoma.

I mean just in general, Pleroma and derivatives. More broadly, anything that talks to the network is gonna get weird data and spit out weird errors, especially if it talks to the web.
