@Mamako @Xeraser @skylar @ehhh @Saber @Spingebill @bleedingphoenix At the risk of being too overtly personal and strangely intimate with a group of people I deliberately keep at arms' length, that time I was gone recently I spent detoxing from alcohol and other things, trying to ween myself from it. Why? Because it robbed me of ambition, positivity and a sense of purpose that I sorely lacked. An addiction is just being owned by somebody else, in my case liquor and tobacco companies, all for dopamine and satisfaction I could literally make for myself via accomplishing things that mean something to me.
