I'm not giving 1password credit for a forward-looking disclosure.1Password didn't disclose this event until I asked them about it. Even then they provided very few details.

That internal report was published only after this story went live.

I think what's to be admired here is that 1password had measures in place to prevent the Okta breach from becoming a vector to attack 1password.
