If I were Russia I would be doing everything I can to get the US sucked into a retarded high casualty (US troop casualty) war with Iran and the general middle east, as revenge for getting sucked into Ukraine.
But how could I accomplish this with 5 eyes seeing EVERYTHING, like Sauron? They saw the invasion before it happened. The only way I can think of is if they already have guys in Hezbollah and Iran willing to start shit, which I doubt. So how could they kick it off? I've been pondering this all night.
