Sam Whited@tastingcraftbeer The other possibility is that it's heat exchanging and bringing the temperature down closer to room temp (more surface area in the pipe == more exposure to ambient temperatures), but this doesn't look like it would have enough surface area for that to be useful, so if I had to guess it's about pressure. Both of these are just speculation though.
