Brotherhood of Steel is fascist (at least in Fallout 4) because:
- strong charismatic leader that did not get chosen, but assumed power
- leadership cult with everyone considering the leader the perfect warrior
- only "pure" humans are allowed
- sickness is seen as otherness, sickness must be eradicated
- black/white thinking with "if you are not BoS, you must be the enemy!"
- claim to help society, but mostly just kill people because everyone outside is "impure"
- want to destroy everyone who has similar power to them (the institute), without being in communication before
