mike bayer :python_logo:@brettcannon looks like a tough spot, first I'm seeing this and my initial impression, which is worth nothing, is "why?" , but given that, certainly using a format we already have and is extensible is preferable to "let's make a whole new format that's "easy"", because any format that's "easy" only seems that way because it hasnt matured.
