@graf @triodug you can't tell anybody I told you this forbidden ma-po-jutsu, but you should try using blue cheese (or ranch if basic white and femoid) dressing in place of the cream while mashing the potatoes. Another different, truly deep fried obese redneck version is to use mayonnaise (which is in principle the same as using ranch or blue cheese since they are mayo based). I do the former on occasion, but I have never done the latter. I have known people who have done the latter (they were pretty good, I had some).
