@BethanyBlack In our defense, it means "I could say more, but I don't need to because you can tell what I'm going to say by what came before the ellipses." It's not just a style, but an attempt to be polite and efficient, AND we're trusting you to be smart enough to fill in the blank. Don't forget we both grew up in space constrained formats and were trained in much more nuanced means of communication than is expected of kids today.
