@coolboymew @Tadano @ooignignoktoo @dassauerkraut I sometimes wonder if that cost has significantly risen for companies that made their own proprietary game cartridges/discs/etc. I'm surprised that Sony hasn't made their own proprietary hardware (thankfully) for distributing their PS5 games since they've been pushing against anti-piracy measures for years by making their own formats in the past (the PSP's UMD, PS Vita cartridges). Maybe it's a huge loss for them overall.
