what surprises me so much is how much denial people regularly exhibit. like if all you care about is game of the week, don't pretend like you're something else :blobcatdunno:

there's a reason i only hang out with some groups like once a year. they aren't interested in being humans, so it's only worth showing up when the stars align and we're playing the same game.

then they get bored and go back to stuff i don't have/like, they won't talk because they have no time for anything but Current Thing, and they act surprised why i disappear for eight months.
