It's shallow minded to think #alttext are only for visually impaired and not consider it also benefits neurodivergents, e.g. contexts. Also people who don't have the time for it, like people reporting from the warzone or just life in general. #alttext is meant for helping each other. Those who gave you a hard time are missing the point. I'm sorry.
